CAMBRIDGE (AP) – State police have released the identity of the pedestrian struck and killed by a car as he walked along Memorial Drive in Cambridge.
The victim struck at about 7 a.m. Tuesday was identified Wednesday as 50-year-old Mark Keiser of Boston.
Keiser was taken by ambulance to Massachusetts General Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
Police say he was struck in the eastbound lanes by a Honda Accord driven by a 24-year-old Brighton man. The driver’s name has not been disclosed.
The death remains under investigation.
